a good hi flow cat?
I have a 89 camaro rs 2.8l v6 and I am college student so I dont really have alot of money, but I want to get a hi flow cat on my car and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good1? thanx

I just picked up a Catco 3" in/out off Ebay for $50 shipped. The're pretty good. They had all different sizes listed, do a search for them. Ebay will be the way to go for the cheapest price.

A hi flow cat won't make a huge difference for power if that's what you're after. If you need to replace yours and want the hi flow while you're at it, then check summit. They have universal fit ones for like $60 but it'll take some welding to get it to fit.

Did your cat die or are you just replacing it for fun?
Don't waste your money on a cat if you're going for performance - that 2.8L is too anemic to waste your time. Instead spend the money on suspension parts and make it handle like a Vette, much better investment IMO.
