Y pipes

What kind of y pipe can I put on my 84 T/A? I already have hooker shorty headers and 3" tubing under the car but I want to change the y pipe from the stock one. What are my options?

I'd suggest going with hooker's y-pipe. They have a y-pipe that will fit their shorties. Or go with a custom 1-off.

Yep, the hooker Ypipe is around 200 bucks, but you have to get something in there. The stock y pipe sucks so bad it's almost pointless to have headers.

It wasnt my choice. I got the car a couple months ago and I've been going through it ever since. It has a nice exhaust system and headers but I was under the car and I saw my y pipe and it didnt look to good, the only thing is the end of my y pipe has a 3in opening, so could it be the hooker pipe already?

If the Y pipe doesnt " look good " then it should probably be replaced anyways. No matter what make it might be.

Could be. Does it look like this (Hooker 2055 Y):

I just installed some hooker 2055's and y pipe, but my car seems to have had a custom y pipe... here is a pic...

http://tampa.craigslist.org/pts/244113394.html

It would probably ship fedex if you were interested...

I'm in FL, taking best offer.
