What long tubes work with a t-56 tranny?

I'am thinking of changing my whole exhaust system and getting rid of my SLP's since they don't really match up well with my new AFR heads exhaust ports. From what I found hooker 2210's will work, any others out there?

One other question, anyone ever seen any test between 1-3/4 and 1-5/8 headers on say a +500RWHP car?

That fella uses a aftermarket t-56, think he uses a t-5 bellhousing with that tranny.

yeah i use a tremec t-56 and a t-5 bellhousing and the super comps clear fine, the hedmans do not. Im not sure about a standard t-56, although from what i have read the 2210 will work fine.

The headman catalogue says that they will not clear.

I know they say that about the t-5 but do they say that about the t-56 also?

Well I got brave and ordered ones from Stainless Works. From the pic's on Hawks site and from my phone call to Stainless Works they might just work out, hopefully the 3" collector wont be a problem with the slave.

When I called Hedman / Hustlers Headers I spoke with one of the guys that works in the back shop as one of the main fabricators. (I do not want to put his name and have him get call about when they are going to be building this header) He told me that none of the LT headers that they make for 3rd gen cars will work with any manual transmissions. All of their headers are designed for automatic cars.

On the list of things for them to design is a new LT header that will work on a manual transmission. They are hoping to startworking on it sometime next year. It is way down on the list of things to do.
