yeah that looks good, too bad he didn't use 3 inch all the way, would this affect back pressure not having a muffler?

Re: I found this exhaust setup on ebay...

With all the pipe you'll be fine. I cut off the muffler on my first camaro and had no trouble
----------
The duals I ran really look and sound cool. It's relatively simple takes a little modification but as long as you have good shocks and struts it works well.
----------
I also ran flowtech headers.

Not me. See that "T" where the (as already mentioned small) I-pipe goes to the two tailpipes? Horrible for flow (but then, how much can a 2.8l flow?). It's not a muffler, so it would be a ticket magnet.

That's a big "pass", IMHO. Get a real exhaust system.

Re: I found this exhaust setup on ebay...

Hmmm....just cut your muffler off and have them run the exhaust out the back without it, it will save you money and make more power over that hack job, good luck...

Re: I found this exhaust setup on ebay...

Since there is a 2 1/4 inch pipe coming from the cat there is no sense in getting it. The bigger the pipe size the better the sound. Just get a GMMG Chambered exhaust best sound out there. I didnt realize u had a 2.8L you should just get a flowmaster 80 series

Exactly my thoughts!

Its bad enough he uses small pipe, but then they top it off with chitty bends to make it flow even worse!

But like said above, on a 2.8 its probably sufficient. Definately a pass on a larger cube motor.

Re: I found this exhaust setup on ebay...

If you want a decent exhaust for not a ton of money get the Dynomax set up. True mandrel bends and aluminized pipe. I had one on my old 2.8 Camaro and it was pretty decent for what it was.
