Hey guys i'm new to the site and have been peeking around for about a week now, just getting ideas and stuff. I'm basically a newbie at all this so bear with me. I have a 1990 RS with the 305, the guy i bought it from put a new exhaust in it about 5 or 6 months ago, but it just doesnt sound mean enough. It doesn't sound like a camaro. I tried tinkering with the sound by puttin some Hooker exhaust tips on them with resonators. While that helped a little bit, it just isn't the sound I want to hear. I want it to be loud and head turing if you will. Any help from you guys would be extremely appreciated. thanks alot.

 

Go to flowmaster's website and you can hear the mufflers before you by them. Not saying go with a flowmaster but atleast you can see the differences. I think all muffler compnay's might have exhuast clips on there website's.

 

Better yet, go online to video.google.com and look at clips of different mufflers on these cars. There are plenty of them out there, and if it doesent say what it is, post a link to the video here and we can help you out.

Also, what system is on it now? And, what kind of sound do you want?
