3" Cat-Converter w/o air tube...(sticky?)
I've seen this question asked before and I'm wondering why its not part of the sticky for cat-backs & headers....I would think that the sticky would have listed the brand(s) and part number(s) (of the various converters without air tubes) which is quite desirable for everyone with headers w/o the air tubes...so did I miss it somewhere or is it something was never posted? Thanks.

If you don't need the tube, keep it capped off. That's the typical approach.

Cat converters with air tubes are required by federal law, regardless of your state or local laws. Federal law does not allow you to remove your cats, or air pump, or air tubes on the manifolds, or any other emissions device on a street vehicle. That's why cats without air tubes are not discussed.

They aren't offered on direct-fit cats for our cars. They may be offered on universal cats, or cats that are direct-fit for vehicles that don't have A.I.R.
