Magnaflow on Carbed engine
Magnaflow on Carbed engine
I used to have a magnaflow on a 305 tpi, I really liked the tone but it wasn't very loud. I'm looking for something that sounds vicious and mean as hell. Does anyone have any experience with dual magnaflows on mild smallblocks with cats? Or maybe I should get a Super 44?

Re: Magnaflow on Carbed engine
I have a magnaflow on a 305 z-28, it is not as mean sounding as the flowmaster I have on my RS. magnaflows sound good but are subdued compared to the flowmaster. Not sure what a super 44 is. hope this helps.

Re: Magnaflow on Carbed engine
Magnaflows sound best on newer SFI motors like the LS1 and 6.0L truck motor. They sound weak on these older wet induction motors for some reason (maybe because the newer motors dont even have the traditional firing order and have a better cam profile??)
