I hope your state does not do a visual emissions equipment inspection if you are pulling all of that stuff off...

Re: header install.. help?

thats what im worried about. im doing this at my tech school. All 3 of my teachers obviously are emissions/inspections certified. They just told me to yank it all. I'm just worried that it wont pass. I would think that they wouldve said something, but ya never know.

Re: header install.. help?

If they dont do a visual inspection than you can pass with no smog pump. Just make sure everything is up to operating temp before going to inspection.

Re: header install.. help?

You can get the air injection tubes in a kit and have them welded onto your headers. Also try adding some pure acetone to your fuel. It will help lower your emmissions. 4 oz. to 10 gal

Re: header install.. help?

I don't have any AIR stuff, no smog pump, and I passed the PA inspection. They did not do a visual inspection where I took it. I also do not have any guts in my cat.
