Quick Hooker Question

Last week I installed my 2460HKR shortys, and corresponding 16767HKR y-pipe. My cat back 16823HKR just arrived, and I am just wondering if it will bolt right up to the y pipe and the other pipe that came with it. Will I need any additional hardware?

Thanks

The 16823HKR is made for the '86-'90 TPI 3" single cat application.

The 16767HKR is made for the '88-'92 TBI 2-1/2" application.

Won't fit directly.

What I would do is get a Flowmaster dual 2-1/2"-to-single 3" y-adapter, adapt that to the Hooker y-pipe, and go 3" to the cat-back.

It's why I don't recommend the 2460HKR and 16767HKR set-up.

Re: Quick Hooker Question

I see. Well seeing as I already have it all installed, I think I'm just gunna stick with what I've got and try and figure out the easiest way to hook the cat-back up.

The easiest way would be to modify the end of the y-pipe so it fits the cat-back.
