Magnaflow Cat-back Install ?

I finally installed my Magnaflow cat-back. It was pretty easy. I have a question for the people who have installed them. How did you connect the hanger on the pipe that goes over the axle to the rubber insulator?

Re: Magnaflow Cat-back Install ?

Anyone? Here is a picture of what I am talking about. I need the piece that bolts to the hanger bracket and slides through the rubber insulator. I went out and bought a rubber insulator but that piece was not included.

I got that piece in an SLP mount kit for their 4th gen Loudmouth exhaust. I wonder if it's also something the dealer would carry for LT1 4th gens.

Re: Magnaflow Cat-back Install ?

Yup you are correct. I contacted Magnaflow earlier in the week to ask about the piece. They told me it could be purchased through the dealer. So on Thursday I went to the GM dealership and had them look it up. At first he looked it up for a 3rd gen but there is no such part. So he started looking for it under the 4th gens and found it under an 02 Camaro. I got it on Friday and it looks like the right piece. I will get a chance to install it on Tuesday to be sure. If anyone needs this piece the part # is 10277958.
