For shorties go with dyno dons [PM him on here] or since you dont have AIR look into the Hooker 2460s.

Hey dyno don, I bought a set of your shorties with the y, is there anyway to modify your y pipe to fit a 3.5 mufflex catback?

Not without specifics. For all we know, your 350 won't need anything more than 1-1/2" Pacesetters. If you talked to Dyno Don, he isn't going to steer you wrong.
Hooker 2055HKR's work well with a whole bunch of combos.
If you think you can have "good" and "cheap", as always you'll get what you pay for - and maybe less.

You would have to cut right at the connection of the two pipes and weld on a 3 1/2" collector.
I can get one of those for you.
