got em on mine. in my sig... do a search under my name in suspension and exhuast and u will find pics. headman longtubes, 3" mandrel bent headman header Sbend extensions, 3" summit xpipe and 3" force mufflers with turndowns. FRIGIN BEASTLYYY!!!! the mufflers are the lowest part but im tucking them up into the body when i make my own custom fuel/brake lines so they are outa the way, sounds better than any single setup ive ever come across and loud

Oh yeah, i have another question, what is the point of a H or X pipe? And is it mandatory in a true dual set up?

Re: Who has true dual dumps on their car??

the h and x pipe r to even out exhaust pulses they also give a lil more torque and horsepower too i think they are not really mandatory for true dual you could jus use the headmen Sbend extensions if you wanted too

Re: Who has true dual dumps on their car??

Hpipes and xpipes basically just even out the exhaust pulses from each side of the engine(this is created naturally when an engine runs due to the fireing order etc)... it improves scavenging and increases flow and usually decreases resonance. they also tend to decrease exhaust noise slightly due to evening out the exhaust pulses. i can tell u first hand that they do change the exhaust note noticably (mine u can actually hear at about 2300-2500rpms and beyond) as well as lower the exhaust noise and resonation. theres 2 diff types, Hpipes are exactly wat they sound like, basically connecting the 2 sides with a straight pipe and accomplishes this evening out of the exhuast pulses. the Xpipe is basiaclly like an newer and updated verson of the Hpipe... the X design is more efficent as far as evening out the exhaust pulses as well as increasing HP and tq. they both do the same thiing but xpipes make more power due to there design. no the Hpipe is great and is good due to the ability to fit it in tight locations where theres not alot of room. xpipes require more room and are generally used less bc of this but if u got the room, i would choose the xpipe over the Hpipe. xpipes ultimitly make more hp and tq over an hpipe but also tend to increase peak hp and tq. hpipes would be good for down low RPMs... where as the xpipe would be better in the mid to upper rpm ranges.

as far as mandatory they are not. i had true duals before this with no hpipe/xpipe and it was a good bit louder, there was resonance as well as u could tell there where 2 different seperated pipes in the exhaust, kinda like exhaust was defined for each side. the xpipe sounds better and gives it a better tone... the exhaust also smoothed out above the 2300rpm range and lost that loud jaggedness with the other setup. but if u can easily create and Hpipe if u dont have the room for the xpipe would u leave hp/tq on the table?? usually not.

i love it over my old setup. no complaints. sounds sooo much better with the xpipe, true duals over stock was impressive but add the xpipe and wow.

Re: Who has true dual dumps on their car??

I had this fabbed up a little over a year ago. The headers are hooker 2210's, a generic x-pipe, and dynomax bullets. At idle it sounds very good, a tad loud, but nice. Any other rpm and IMO its too loud. From about 3000 on up it's absolutely insane. The x-pipe and dumps help with sound a little, but not much.
Now I had a 383 with a decent cam so your volume might be different. On the freeway cruising between 60-70 it gives me a headache and you can't talk to the person next to you. I'm going to change it sometime this month. I'm going to go with a 4" mufflex cat-back and a cut-out.

it was about 250 with materials. 2.5" to 3" reducers to 3" pipes straight back (I mean straight, dinged in on the side to clear crossmember) to Force 3 chambers.

since those pics, i added 3" under axle tailpipes. surprisingly it doesnt ding with 2 big dudes in the car, but I live in FL so everything is near flat or close enough =D
