Re: full length headers question

If they're thirdgen headers they won't hit the floor, and they'll only require a Y pipe somewhere if you're planning on running single exhaust.

Re: full length headers question

If you mean do they hit the ground, then the answer is yes, every speed bump and wash out the header flanges either scrape or worse.

I don't know of any pre-built y-pipes designed for our cars with long tubes, you're on your own.

Re: full length headers question

I think MAC used to make a system for Hooker Super Comps. Apart from that, anything with long tubes is going to be a custom job. If this is a street car, I'd stick with shortys.

Re: full length headers question

It is for a street car so shortys would be better right

Re: full length headers question

It's a lot less hassle to use shortys.

Re: full length headers question

Flowtechs aren't known for their outstanding quality. You'd be better off spending a little more money on something else.

Re: full length headers question

Hooker 2055s are a popular choice. They have the AIR tubes for emissions, and they include the Y pipe in the price, which most of the others don't.
