I thought the 2055's had a 1 3/4 prim?

So i just canceled my order for the 2460HKR's because people on here say the 2055's have 1 3/4 primarys and the 2460's have 1 5/8. Well i just checked summit and jegs. 1 5/8 prims on the 2055's. What gives? Why are they better, besides emissions?

Bahn, I've heard on here that the 2055's are a better header choice over the 2460's because of the y-pipe that comes with the 2055's, it's supposed to flow really well.

i'm having a custom y-pipe made here locally for the 2460's. It's a 3inch opposed to hookers 2.5". So with my custom Y-pipe, i dont understand why the 2055's are better, besides emissions.

Re: I thought the 2055's had a 1 3/4 prim?

2055's are better quality piping and better gauge. the 2055's are ball and socket collectors and i think the 2460's are not. just some differences. there is a sticky on best header choice. that is why i chose the 2055's instead of the 2460's.

Or off the market.!?If you have the money to spend dyno dons are the way to go IMHO.Quite a few people on here use them and love them.Next would be 2055`s,then hedmans or 2460`s.They are not bad headersDepends on what your goals are and your mods.IMHO again,if you have a mild, simple bolt on,or stock type set-up and don`t plan on a RACE CAR,look for some used headers.Hooker or hedmans mainly.I got a GREAT deal on a set of ceramic coated 2460 headers with zero rust.$50 bucks. You may not get a deal that good or you may get one better.Be patient.I just cant afford the price these companys want for a new exhaust system.I`m not saying they arent worth the price either. They are all over the place I have found.Guys like us that change their minds on a third gen for something differant.Buy what you want.this is just my opinion. On my salary with a mortgage and an ex wife and all, used is my new. Just my
