Louder Exhuast

HEy guys ok well when i got my 85 T/A it had the factory exhaust, well now it has a hooker aerochamber on it and its just to quiet. I mean my dads toyota is louder. Im basically looking for a quick fix. BUT i know that i need to do it the right way with headers and a flowmaster. I just want this quick fix until i start my new job and get the money for that. mind you i do knot have a shop so no shop tools i just have the essentials. thanks guys

Re: Louder Exhuast

If its temporary just get a $20 glasspack and clamp it on. Better yet, flowtech makes a $15 one in Summits catalog.

Honestly, it doesn't even seem worth it. Save the time, save your money, and do the job right the first time. But hey! It's your car, your choice

Re: Louder Exhuast

cutouts are cheap but in this case probably not worth it. if you're planning on getting a catback you're better off saving some $$ and waiting it out. it'll be worth it in the long run. good luck

Re: Louder Exhuast

just take the catback off if you want loud, otherwise save some money and get longtubes with good muffler or no muffler. Just remember it is better to have a tame sounding fast car than a loud turd
