Put my MagnaFlow in this week end and I have 5 inches of tail pipes sticking out past the bumper and had to make up a drivers side tailpipe hanger because the OEM hanger was not close, has anyone else had this condition? Just making sure I did not incorrectly installed anything.

I'd probably say you got a 4th gen exhaust or if you got a 3rd gen exhaust then the PO may have done some handy work...

 

My drivers side and passenger side hangers are the stock ones the brackets did have to be cut off the old pips and welded onto the new ones i had my pipes bent like the stock ones.
I believe the MagnaFlow pipes are long so you can trim them for installing exhaust tips.

 

Just a thought.

Is the drivers side muffler outlet towards the rear of the car? Should be to the front.

Great info guys got it figured out with your help. Not one of my sharpest moments, I guess after fitting the fuel pump install my common sense was all used up. Thanks Jim
