Stock distance to Catalytic Converter?
Hey guys,
we're fine tuning our LeMons Devil Camaro and need some help with the exhaust. I read the sticky at the top regarding back pressure and it said our pipes should end close to where the cat is on a stock exhaust to maximize power around 5k RPM. The only problem is, our stock exhaust is long gone, so I have no idea how long that is. How long are the stock pipes from the side of the heads to the cat on a stock V8 third gen exhaust? Or better yet, how long should our pipes be to maximize performance around 5K RPM for a 305 TBI?
