Hey Guys - so I'm about to embark on a resto project to convert the exhaust system on a 90 IROC 5.0 TPI to it's bone stock factory OEM setup. Does anyone know where I can find (or can anyone provide) a list of p/n's for the OEM pipes, mufflers etc.?

Not sure what good part numbers are going to do for you... that stuff is all long discontinued.

But... www.mortec.com should have all the part numbers you need.

Thanks Jim but it looks like that site is no longer live. Is there another one you would suggest? On another note I did speak to someone at Walker Exhaust who gave me some part numbers. Has anyone had experience with Walker Quiet Flow? I'm remving a Flowmaster 80 series.

-Thanks

just check the yards theres plenty of stock exhaust cars. they also carry everything at autozone brand new. Any reason your going with the stock exhuast and not something "better".

oops... I have no idea why I posted mortec. I guess I was thinking about that site when I made that last post.

The site should be www.compnine.com.

I have a set of cherry manifolds and stock y-pipe from my l98, should be the same as the lb9 stuff. I have it for sale in the classifieds

Walker exhaust is usually very close to factory specifications as far as look and decibel rating goes.

Thre was a company, (forgot the name), I saw on ebay a year or two ago which sold complete replacement N10 dual cat exhausts. I just did a quick search but couldn't find them, but I'm sure they're still out there.

Re: OEM Exhaust Project IROC
I removed a walker quiet flow set up from my car when installing the edelbrock cat back I am currently running. I drove the car for the better part of a year with the walker exhaust and it was very subtle in sound, under throttle it was not too loud either. The fit and finish was good with the walker exhaust also, better than the edelbrock anyway. Unless you can find original unused parts somewhere I would say its as close as you will find to OEM.

Well just to give an update, believe it or not I ended up finding a NOS OEM Muffler w/tail pipes. No damage, just a tiny bit of surface rust that wiped off with a cloth and there was packing tape over the pipes that literally disintegrated when I removed it. Shot in the dark I'm sure but I guess it just pays to be persistent with this stuff. Appreciate everyone's feedback.

Wow I would like to see that.
Would also be nice to see a dual cat 2 1/2 setup mandrel bent for factory manifolds. Kinda like SLPs old setup that they had but a true 2 1/2 ID instead of 2 1/4 OD stuff..

Re: OEM Exhaust Project IROC
Shot in the dark I know but does anyone out there have a stock 90-91 single cat in good condition? Non N10 single cat setup and looking for the OEM from a 90-91 5.0 or 5.7 TPI IROC. If so PM me and let me know how much you're looking for. And need pics.
