summit or jegs has the Y pipe. They are pretty good headers. They are one of the only shorty's that fully cover D-ports too.

If only they made a true 3 inch y pipe. since the collectors are 3 inch it would only make sense to continue with a 3'' Y pipe.

You WILL NOT be able to get the y-pipe by itself. You have to buy the headers new to get the pipe. The only one I saw that you can get separately is the one for the 2460's. but unfortunately the outlet is only 2.5.

Yea, that's true. I forgot they were for 2460s. The best bet is probably a custom made 3 inch.

or you can buy the pipe and cut off the 2.5 and weld in a 3 inch outlet. should be very easy to remedy.

Robert,

You mean buy the Y-pipe for 2460 and modify it? Are they the same where it connects to headers then? Just where it connects to the cat needs to be widened to 3"?

2055s do have a 3" Y-pipe.

I believe so but now that I think about it the connectors at the headers themselves might be different. I think the ones on the 2460's are a flat connector as to the 2055's have a ball joint.

You could have one made at a custom fab shop. But then might be cheaper to just buy the whole thing new.

Re: Found 2055 Hooker Headers, no Y pipe ?

okay so hooker makes a combo 3in header/y pipe, but they do not sell the 3 in y pipe separately? The individual 3in goes to 2.5? is this correct?

Re: Found 2055 Hooker Headers, no Y pipe ?

the piping after the y is 3", but from the ball flange to the y, it is not nearly that big. I don't think anyone makes a y-pipe with 3" pipe before the y. But the hooker 2055 y-pipe is the biggest. Mac also makes a 3" y-pipe but for stock exhaust manifolds if memory serves.

Re: Found 2055 Hooker Headers, no Y pipe ?

from what i remember when i had these headers on my old engine, if you contact hooker they will let you buy the y pipe separately for the 2055 headers. that was like 5 years ago though.
