lo3 headers on 350TBI??
im looking to get some headers on my camaro and im not sure what do get for brand and what would fit? i think the motor is a 350TBI but i can get to the serial number without removing the motor because its realy close to the firewall plus i dont have much time to work on the car i dont want to remove the motor...next time i might remove the vavle cover and try to look for the serial number again but just in case i was wondering if headers of an lo3 would fit my 350?

any thirdgen 305 headers will fit a 350; they use the same ports and bolt pattern. no need for casting or serial numbers

Re: lo3 headers on 350TBI??
Just be aware of what size the headers are... some that are designed specifically for 305s might use 1.5" tubes, and those could limit the benefits on a 350 compared to a 1 5/8" pipe.
But, most are generally 1 5/8" anyway.

Honestly you can't go wrong with hooker 2460s if you have smog removed. If you dont the 2055 is a good choice AND comes with a ypipe. But Dyno Dons are by far the more superior headers from what i've read. You can never go wrong with big 1 3/4" headers.

Re: lo3 headers on 350TBI??
Briefly explained, it is called A.I.R. and it basically just pumps air into the manifolds while the car is warming up. It really clears up the engine bay when you remove it, but if you need to smog legal i'd suggest keeping it. It's easy to get off; but if you had to put it back on it would def not be fun.
The main parts are:
- Air Pump
- Diverter Valve
- Air tubes into manifolds
- Connecting tubes
- Cat tube
And the cat tube and connecting tube are bolted onto the ground bolts that are located on the rear of the head. And some cars have a rubber connecting tube ,where my car had a metal line (which was not fun to remove). The rubber one would be much easier.

Re: lo3 headers on 350TBI??
If your retaining the oringinal style exhaust setup i'd go with a 3inch intermediate pipe into dual 2.5 out back.
