stock 305/350 manifolds on 327?
Is this possible and will it work with a stock Y-pipe. the exhaust thats on it now is a piece of junk and I would like to go back to a stock one. My motor has headers right now back to a "custom" true dual setup that follows the stock path, but both mufflers blew out when my car wasnt tuned right and backfired, and I dont want to find two same size mufflers that fit. I don't know what headers are on it (this all came with the car.) and will find out soon if it matches. Thanks!
Re: stock 305/350 manifolds on 327?
How old is the 327? Stock 82-92 engines all have a passengers side dipstick, and wider exhaust manifold bolt spacing at the passengers rear exhaust port. Older engines typically will have the dipstick on the drivers side right in the middle of the stock manifold dump, and/or the narrow exhaust bolt spacing. That's why headers are recommended with older engine swaps.

what makes the exhaust junk is thats its falling apart and the replacement mufflers had to be the same size, plus both tips came out on the same side so it looked bad. its accually a '67 L79 block, so the dipstick is on the drivers side, so I guess that wont work then. I will have to hope that a stock y will match.

A stock Y isn't going to match up to headers. If your Y is rotten and you can figure out which headers you have, you can get a replacement.

Manifolds won't work. Drivers side will. Last bolt on passenger side doesn't line up on your headss

damn, and my issue is I dont have a Y, its a custom dual that was pieced together by a retard (so it seems.) Guess I will have to make one
edit: forgot to mention that they are world products Dart 76cc heads. Dunno if that changes anything.

Dart heads should have the bolt holes you need. Stock 327-era heads wouldn't.
You can still figure out what headers you have and order a Y.

The first bolt on the drivers side doesn't really matter, since the front port on the drivers side manifold has the narrow spacing. The only hole that doesn't line up is the last one on the passengers side. But the drivers side manifold will still cover the dipstick.
