Round or square port gaskets?
If the heads are square port and the headers are round port, which header gasket should be used?

Re: Round or square port gaskets?
i bought hedmans which have round ports, I used round gaskets
Her's the rub, don't waste your time with paper or Felpro (yes i said Felpro) gaskets.
You want dead soft aluminum such as Percys or Mr Gasket
they are worth the extra $$$

Re: Round or square port gaskets?
Yeah thats what I'm running now and I'm going to buy another set. I have hedman headers also and dart pro 1 heads. The heads are square port so I wasn't sure if I needed the square or round port since the headers are round port. Guess it doesn't really matter. Is it better to match the gasket to the header rather than the head?
