i just got the obx cat back exhaust . 3" intermidiate pipe an 3.5" tips . it's all chrome i'm gonna post a sound clip when i get it on maybe sunday ...

i'll know soon enough i guess . i couldn't find a sound clip of it on a camaro so i'mm gonna post one . worst case i'll buy another muffler at least i'll have the 3 " pipe back already an the tips still . for 310 shipped i can't complain .lol

I bet it sounds good I liked the sound of the OBX on my solara.

You'll love the sound. i installed it on my car. Fitment was quite good. Just get better clamps than what they sent you. This kit was complete with the slant tips as the only option when I checked. What sold my on this system was a sound clip on you tube of an c5 corvette. I know it wasn't apples to apples, but seriously.

It looks really nice. very similar to the Magnaflow catback.

not yet the weather sucked here over the weekend . hopefully one day this week .

 

update :
i've got it on abot 75 % enough i started it to get an idea of how it's gonna sound . in my opinion it has a deep magnaflo sound only louder . i got sum supports an clamps to finish instaling an yes the clamps suck so i'm gonna either buy all new ones or weld the joints not sure yet . i like it better than the 2.25 " flowmster 40 i had on it . i'll get a sound clip up this weekend i'm gonna put a posi rear end in on sunday hopefully .

no install pics yet but yes it fits perfect . i've got shortie headers an no cat 2.5" ypipe the hardest part was finding a 3"-2.5" adapter im my town . ill get sum installed pics after it's all buttoned up .

 

i'm outta fuel on the top end before i putthis on now i'm really out . lol

 

I cant help but wonder if those are true crossflow mufflers... I have my doubts. Sounds good, though.

 

i can't wait to get some miles on it so it deepens up a bit more . i'm happy with tho . to be honest it's a little quieter than i wanted but considering i'm running headers an no cat thats prolly a good thing . don't need johnny law pulling me over all the time .lol

The fitment looks great! the length of the tips sticking out is nice
And once the muffler breaks in i bet it will be louder

 

Ijust ordered mine yesterday 305.00 with shipping.Cant beat that price hope it gets here soon.also waitng for the hooker 2406 headers to get hear with the y pipe so i can start wrenchen.

 

Never heard of this, but the sound is excellent. Would like to see more pics of the install...not sure I like how the muffler sits.

 

 

I have an OBX on my Subaru DD, looks like i'll be getting one for my RS too

 

Just got done with the install on my 89 gta.fit was right on the only thing i had todo was swap out the rear hanger. also i switched out some of the clamps they give you was not impressed with them.but all else was very good.For the price it was 290.00 shipped to my door took about one week.

I just ordered this exhaust for my car. for 300.00 shipped with good fit and good sound. You can't beat it

 

i think it's the best bang for the buck as far as 3" cat back exhaust goes .
