Recommend a header?
I have an 86 iroc i plan on redoing the exhaust when i swap in a carbed 383 so heres what i need a header that will allow me to run 500+hp what size should the primary tube inlet be? Flange style that provides the best seal? Full length or shorties? Ceramic or thermal coating? Biggest thing what brand?

I would recommend two headers.

I have Hooker 2055's but on my 305 with out 500 hp 
Either Dyno Don / Doug Headers make a nice steel set (I think they have bigger primaries than the Hooker 2055's) and also come with 3" y pipe.... the ceramic coating really helps with keeping the heat in the exhaust and lowering under hood temps...

i'm getting 2 sets of Don's soon - one for my car to replace the rusty AS&M headers from 1993 and another for our CTW Motorsports project car...
