lacks power

hi i got a 1988 Camaro v6 2.8L only has 85 thousand miles original and it has a exhaust leak from the right side manifold from where the manifold hooks up to the pipe that goes to the cat its cracked with no bolt. recently its been lacking power alot when i floor it the engine revs up high but the car doesn't go. i took the codes and comes up 22,32. can the exhaust leak cause the car to lack power?

i looked again for the crack and its not from the tip or anything but the leak is from the manifold where it meets the engine. and when i drive now I'm hearing a hissing sound from the catylac converter as the rpms go higher the hissing sound gets louder. can this be because its clogged or blocked??

Re: lacks power

turns out it was a clogged, broken catylac converter replaced it for 130

Re: lacks power

only bad cats ive seen, even on a 4cyl still ran ok but the cat would glow red, and the smell of parts around it cooking clued you in, you must of had it nearly blocked off.
