true dual 3"
Working on my exhaust after doing the T56 swap and thought I would post some pics. Im using Hooker 2210's into Headman 3" S-bend collector extensions to a summit 3" X-pipe kit with Flowmaster supper 44's and taking the easy rout for now with turn downs. Here are some picks of the progress so far....

Here are a couple more. I hope to finish mockup and have everything ready for finish welds tomarow. I have had the car on the ground to move it for other work in the shop and so far I have great ground clearance. I plan to modify the floor directly under the back seats so I can tuck the mufflers in and make it look somewhat factory.

T56 + custom crossmember = epic success
Just a matter of fitting mufflers under the back seats now.

Looks good. Almsot exactly how I have mine. Are you running a stock torque arm? I wound up having to make a whole crossmember just for my Spohn arm.

Thanks for the good words guys. I havent been able to work on it anymore since this storm started rolling in. Lancaster county pa, my home, is suposed to get hit bad tonight. built91Z28 I am running a jegster adjustable torque arm, I had a spohn with my T5 but their design takes up a lot of space.

Oh and the crossmember is a Hawks, I had to modify it because Im running an LS1 T56 with a McLeod bell so its a little long compared to an LT1 T56 which is what I think Hawks built the crossmember for.

Got the mufflers on, everything tack welded, hangers in place and the turndowns made and tacked on. I cut the back seat tubs to make room for the mufflers to tuck in better. I think it all turned out well so far, looks like I have good clearance all around. In the picture with the three cans they are all directly undey the exhuast with the middle one directly below the X-pipe

Re: true dual 3"
And here is the last part of the project. My floor looks like hell right now but I plan to use some sheet steel that I have to seal everything back up and make things look nice and somewhat flat. I ran out of shield gas so finish welding the exhaust and finishing the floor will have to wait a couple days till I have time to get my bottle filled.
