Hooker super competition and T-56 do they fit?

I have a 1988 Firebird with a 406 a T-56 and a set of Hedman 1-5/8 long tube headers. I am debating buying a set of Hooker super competition 1-3/4 long tube headers and I would like to know if they clear the T-56, does anyone have any experiences to share?

Thanks

Yes, they will clear with a little work. If you have a spohn cross member good luck... I had to squish the pipes just to get it past it on mine.

Thanks, nice fab job, I may copy what you did. I have a spohn crossmember that I made work but I like your idea.

Yours should be much easier. I have 700r4 with first generation torque arm (with metal sliding rod). Those aren't my designs.

The first link posted is mine. I already had the Spohn crossmember for the T56 but I wanted more ground clearance for the y pipe I made and making my own crossmember was the only option.
