thumbs up for aerochamber

Bought the car with the stock single 2.5 exhaust, with a flowmaster40. Rusted pinholes all along the intermediate pipe so I needed a new exhaust system, might as well get a 3" right?

The flowmaster 40 still sounded great, but probably had rust flakes all through it thanks to the intermediate pipe condition.

Anyway, chose a hooker aerochamber model 16823. I am really impressed. Had to cut a couple of inches from the intermediate and outflow pipes, but it only took a couple of hours to install. And it sounds really great. Not loud like someone trying to get attention, but subtle and just unconsciously draws you in with the low rumble, until you get on it when it sounds like a V8 should. Well done Hooker!
