Quick Header Question

Are there any long tube SQUARE PORT headers that fit our cars? Heads i'm looking to buy are square port. If I have to resort to shorties, I can deal. Just having a hard time finding square port headers for 82-92 F body cars. I keep getting D port headers in my searches.

Re: Quick Header Question

Okay, I am soooooooooo confused.. why is it that even though the pictures have square ports, the description says OVAL port exhaust?? These are just a few examples. Like, wtf?

Re: Quick Header Question

Well this kind of turned out not to be a "quick" question at all.. I'm pretty sure you can't EFFICIENTLY mix and match these ports. How are soooo many people running aftermarket heads, and somehow also find headers to fit our cars? Maybe I posted this in the wrong section.

and now you find out one of the many things that make using headers sooooo much fun! but seriously.you might just have to make your own. there are kits to be had. see, header companys go for the common things to ensure sales are good, show up with something different.... you get the idea. give dyno don or hooker a call. but do it sitting down. and good luck with your build.

Thanks so much man. Never though it would be THIS hard to get an answer with so many people running aftermarket heads and headers on this forum. I may just try to find an oval or D shaped head.

Re: Quick Header Question

Here is your answer...
These headers will work with round, square or D-shaped ports.
AFR heads have one of the largest square exhaust ports and these fit fine.

PM me for details.
