Emissions

So I have a really nice pair of headers but not really interested in buying new ones (Edelbrock Headers). They have the emissions tubing like the oem ones did, so I was wondering what size pipe plugs do you think i would need to plug up these emissions tubings and pipes Because I am removing all the smog pump crap and cat.
Any info will help.

Re: Emissions

My only advice is to keep all that "smog crap" as you may need it again in some day...I speak from experience.

The way things are going, even places with no current emissions testing will be doing so eventually.

don't remove the emission stuff unless you have a friend that can inspect the car for you.if you do anyway save it.

Re: Emissions

I know this is a couple months old but why do you say not to remove smog? These cars passed the 25 year mark and unless you live in California you don't need emissions inspections for cars 25+ years old. I got mine inspected last year (1989) and they didn't bother with emissions at all.

Re: Emissions

Every state has different laws. Republik of kali isn't the only state that has emissions laws still.
