exhaust size
So in a prior post, I asked about dual exhaust but after some research and the lack of access to a pipe bender I was just going to go with single exhaust my question is with a 350 with 305 heads and headman long tube headers would a 3" exhaust be good enough? No emissions s so I was gonna order a y pipe from headman and just connect a cat back system with wielding a pipe to connect the two, any good cat back systems like/ recommend and is there a way I can hear it

Re: exhaust size
3" will be enough, check the sticky for more info. youtube has a ton of sound clips. Other than that there are tons of threads about header and exhaust setups.

I recommend Flowmaster 80s Series 3" Catback system. 2.5 Single in/3"Dual out with chrome tips with an angle cut.

Long tube headers = ground clearance issues. If you don't have them yet than you might want to consider,
Shorty headers into a 3" Y pipe, into a 3" Cat Back and is the most popular and overall best "user friendly" system.
I have the Flowmaster "American Thunder" 3" cat back that sounds like the one Phenom-1 recommended.
Everything is the same except its all 3" with tips that I shortened. If you like the system loud inside and outside of the car, its the one.
Side note = I just read your other thread. If your dead set on using them (long tubes) you will need a shop to attempt to manipulate the system to accommodate them.

I use the "side note =" when I want to add a little something off topic or to add
aspects to a thread with out crowding or changing the reply above.
As far as the Long Tubes go , I like them and they sound great with the right engine and can be installed with a little more effort then the shorty system.
Over the years here I have seen many installations and the majority of them are not used on Daily Drivers or cars that will see a lot of street driving in general because of clearance issues. You never said you were using the car as a street machine so it my not even be a concern for you.
Running yours the way you want to with a single "intermediate" pipe should help you with clearance.
I'm sure the system will be a great one and sound fantastic and giving you the extra performance you desire.

Re: exhaust size
If you're using long tubes you might as well go with true duals. You aren't going to lose much more clearance anyway.
Here's some pics of my setup. Dual 2.5" pipes.
