Are Meg's Sound Tips ***** or not?

Well those tips look like they taper to the pipe they are bolted/welded to. They are bigger on the ends and get smaller towards the muffler. Thats what all ricers have, a bigger tip than the size of the pipe its on. Fvck the sound... its rice.

The answer is no, absolutly not. They do just what they say, although they don't make THAT much of a difference. They kinda make it a little less loud to make a little more rumble.

 

the one on the far right looks nice but the others are pretty *****.

 

thats what most everyone has dumbfvck my dad has 3inch chrome tips on his truck leading to 2.5inch pipes
borla, flows, magnaflows, 93-97 Z28s had rectanglular tips that were wider than the pipe they were on........shut the hell up with the "thats rice"

 

I do not think I have heard ChevyLuva3 say many nice things. to him almost everything seems to be rice. I am kinda surprised that he has not went off on me yet being I drive a "ricemobile". but so far out of the last 10 comments or so that I ahve seen from him it is rice this or rice that and some other dumb, comments that could only from someone who is with a simple mind.

think the tips looks kinda nice
not something huge and excessive like putting a 4 inch tip on a 1 inch pipe now that is something I would call rice. but as far as sound I am sure they do not make that much of a difference.
if so proly just make it a little deeper sounding
but I doubt it

 

forget what other people think, so for all those who have quad tips, is that rice too since its not true quad piping? Some of these rice comments are getting out of hand. Now anything you do that makes your car look good is rice. Do what you want.

 

I have dual 4" chrome tips coming off of dual 2.5"s. they flare from 2.5"to4" in about 2 inches so they aren't exactly the same. but I love em, they really make a throaty sound and deepin the sound on my car. they don't sound like rice AT ALL!!

 

All I can do is laugh, **** the damn topic has the name RICE in it, so obviously someone will answer with the word RICE. Show me these 10 comments about rice??! And besides your car doesn't count as rice, looks more like a commuter car to me (a car that could be turned into rice, but the owner is smart not too). And exactly, you said it yourself a 4inch tip on a 1inch pipe is rice, ur repeating my thoughts of these tips, so stop your whining. Theres a jeep at my school with a 3inch tip with a probably 1.5 maybe 2inch pipe, looks stupid as hell, in another word rice. And that other kid is funny too 5.slow or somthin, hes got quite a mouth, and riiiight I'm simple minded HAHA.

Just get the same size tip as your pipe. But hey man if you like havin a giant tip on your small pipe thats fine with me, but don't see me congratulating you on it.

 

C'mon guys this whole rice thing is getting old. We had chrome tips before they ever did. They look fine to me, and putting slightly bigger tips on than pipe does not mean rice unless its a huge jump, like 4" tips on 1.5 inch pipe. Putting 3" tips on 2.5" pipe is perfectly normal and has been done for decades, and its what I'm going to do.

ok I have no problem with the word rice but come on just b/c the tip is larger then the piping on the muffler doesn't make it so
it is when the tip gets a lot larger then the piping that it kinda starts to looks stupid

3 inch tip on a 2.25 piping looks fine to me
it is going to a 4 in on a 1 1/2 inch pipe that looks stupid


and you know man I really dont have a problem with you it is just I am kinda getting tired of all the rice comments and how this has to be rice or that is rice. a lot of cars have tips that are larger then the piping so just by goin a little larger should not be rice
though I admit oops.. I do have large as tips on my car but then again I am also running dual 3 inch pipes all the way back and the muff is a 3 1/2 inch core to a 4 inch tip I think

I hate the size of the mufflers I admit that and I wish I could have them with a smaller tip but hey thats life.
