Prolly a stupid question

Is it legal to drive your car w/out a muffler?..the one on my winter beater fell off..and it sounds bad @ss, i can just imagine my camaro w/out my muffler w/3 inch all the way back. Also, would it pass inspectoin?

Depends on the state and how the law is written. I've heard of crazy laws where you have to have a muffler but people get away with it not being attached. They have it in a box in the trunk!
