any body know where or how to get a hold of floorpans for a 84 z28! iam look on ebay and google so i just wanted to try here first thanks a million!

 

Well I have an 87 ta I'm cutting up but I wouldn't know how to ship them. Most people just make there own patch panels out of sheet metal.

 

i know but i just do it the right way i plan on keeping the car for a long time! are the floor pans the exact fit of the 84 camaro ? i mean i seen them on ebay for 300 buck a pan and my welder want 300 buck to put both of them in thats all most a grand! how much would you charge for them and how much is shipping to 32308? thanks for you time and advice!

 

I guess 50 a side or 75 for both. As far as shipping probably a lot as it would probably get labeled as truck freght and I usually cut big so you can trim off what you don't need. I would guess you would be better of trying to find them localy as shipping is expensive. oh and as far as I know all 82-92 3rd gen floors are the same but I'm no expert.

 

hey man thanks iam just gonna patch them for know but i'll take them any way can you find out how much shipping is bc yards here are crushin anything thats 92 and down ! so it'either i buy them new and get a guy to weld them in or i find some good used ones for cheaper ! thanks let me know how much shipping to 32308 is! i'll have free cash week in two weeks so i can pay for it all at once thanks again !

 

I have no idea how much they will weight or what size box I will need. but if you want to try and guess my zip code is 18103. I will try and get them pulled as soon as posable. I don't get much time to mess with my cars but I will try. is there any specific way you would like them cut out.

you can cut them with a lil extra metal all around so the welder can cut off what he don't need! thanks again homie ! as for the shippin all you have to do is cut them and weight them and i'll find out shipping ! lol

 

Well just an update If been cutting the car apart and stripping it as I get time. I finally pulled the carpet today and snaped a pic of the floor pan. I forgot I had to modify the tunnel a little when I put the 6 speed in the car. Also the rear driveshaft saffty loop hit the floor a couple of times.

 

ok chillia just let me know when you gwt them cut and weighted b/c iam still intrested it' 100 plus shippng right ? thanks again they look great !

I would just bubble wrap them good and tape cardboard to wrap the sharp edges from cutting thru, and to keep shipping cost and size down. This will cut costs alot, dont box em

just another update hear is a pic of the bottom. I really wish you could just get it the way it is right now but trying to ship it like this would be outragous. I have to figure out how much to cut off of it yet and pacage it up.

 

It would be easier to ship it freight. If that guy hasnt gotten back to you yet, i would like to set this up for me to buy the floor pans and have them shipped frieght to 60440. Let me know if that is possible.

 

Not sure what you were trying to say but I am now not so sure this is fesable to ship as I took a hood to ups and they wanted 350 to pack and ship it so this would be more and probably not worth it.

As it sits right now it's really heavy I can barly pick it up. But if your not in any rush I can try and cut more stuff off of it. Like the frame rails and rear suspension mounts. With the hollidays taking up so much of my time I'm not sure when I will be able to but I will get at it eventually.

 

can u get pis of new floor pans and cut them like that that should cut the weight and sav on the shipppin! no rush my friend iam just right around the corner from getting my 305 and my 350 transmission REBUILT SO I GOT TIME NO RUSH THANKS AGAIN MY FRIEND!

Ok I found out I will probably be going to florida at some point latter this year for a wedding. I belive in sept or oct. so if you can wait that long maybee I can meet you somewhere with them and not have to cut them up much.
