Differential Measurements
I'm about to order my rear end, they are offered in several widths from 57" to 60" from drive plate to drive plate. What width would be best for maximizing possible tire width, while keeping my backspacing relatively centered? Also, in the future, as my tech speed increases, I may add a cheap wide body kit. How much width will this add to the wheel wells? will I need to get a wider rear, or can I cover it with wider wheels and more backspacing?
Any horror stories about aluminium hubs? I'm thinking about weight, but a shattered hub @150mph could hurt! Should I just eat the weight for safetyand use the steel hubs?
By the way this will be a full floater rear end w/ 9 inch center.
Thanx
