Making an AFPR?
Any one seen the AFPR tech article on the 3rd Degree website? Does that work good? Any comments or concerns? Thinking about doing it just wanted some feedback before i drill a hole through my current FPR. Thanks
Yes, it works. Many on here have done it with success, and I am going to do it one of these upcoming weekends. All you are doing is adjusting the spring tension on the regulator, as long as you follow the directions you shouldn't have any leaks.

Yep, just break the points off with a pair of piers and JB weld it in place. If you didn't notice, I also hammered out the contour in the end of the fpr cover to give a little extra room for the washer. With a little creativity you can actually get this to go a little lower the stock pressure if that’s what you need, but I would focus on the area that you really need to be adjustable in because there isn’t much room between this thing and the bottom of the plenum. In my case I ground out a little hollow in the bottom of the plenum to give me a bigger adjustment range and room to use a ½” wrench on it.
If I took some time I could have probably made it look a little better, but the original that I started with was all rusted to hell and I was doing this on a Friday afternoon and trying to get it reassembled before T&T that night.
