AC Delete Cover Plate
So I got rid of my AC while I was doing the 355 swap, since then I was running around with huge holes left on the firewall from where the AC used to sit. I finally got around to making a plate to cover it, here's the end result.
I'm just glad I won't die from all the dust, heat, and smoke being generated by the engine. I actually enjoy driving it now
What do you guys think? Did it all with a 6" grinder and a piece of sand paper lol... what did all you guys do about this AC delete issue?

Well..................it's kinda big. I mean it looks good but you used WAY to much sheet metal to fill up 2 small holes. Oh well.

i made a panel back in the day that fits exactly where my a/c box came out. traced it on some aluminum, cut it out and drilled some holes, mounted it back with the same bolts i took the a/c box off with.

old and new the sheet metal is like 20 gauge so it weighs like less than a pound and I took out my dash and all of the heater stuff behind it

im thinking about removing it on the trans am since its not gonna be a winter car and its not gonna have a/c ever refurbished
but if i were to do it i would want it done right
pieces of steel to fit in the holes flush and welded in smooth with a mig welder
hmmm
good luck
