I just saw in another thread how the C4 shift boot...
I cant stand the skinny stick for a shifter thats on 3rd gens. It looks like the C4 boot it might fit!

if anyone has a C4 (i was told 84-89 was the style im looking at, but if any other year might fit post a reply...)

do you know how that attaches to the shifter? also i would like to use that style shift handle. do you think that *** would fit as a replasement?

 

Yes, that is the 1984-1989 style.
The boot is loose from the stick.

C5 shifter boot for the automatic will probaly fit to.

yea i looked at my cars and it was kind of looks the same i was woudering it would fit the same. man i really want to do this it would make the shifter look so much cooler!
