Making your own SFC's??

Does anyone have a pattern or plans for making your own SFC's? It couldn't be that hard, right?

If I had a pair to go by I think I could do it.

Not really that hard, all you have to know is what points on the bottom of the car you need to connect and you just connect them.

if you have the skills to make them you don't need plans. parts just need to go from point A to point B and you get to pick where point A and B are.

I have a set of Hotchkis SFC's. They run from the rear control arm bracket to the front subframe. If there is one thing a put on my car that helped the most, I would SFC's are a MUST HAVE!!! Check these out they are awesome.

I'm sure you could measure, cut, contour the pieces so they sit flush with the floor of the car- at least as good as any of the aftermarket pieces anyway. You could just go through the floor like I did. There was a couple of rust holes I wanted to fix anyways so I didn't care about cutting up the floor.

Material is 2x3" 1/8" thick, depending on where you plan to connect the frame rails I think that 2x2" would work very well for the perimeter style sfc's.

I had asked about sfc's before and someone put up this pic. It helped me out with mine. I don't remember who it was but I have not seen a view like this to help out with figureing out what to do before.

I tried to find a post by SERPENT99 he used this idea and did a way better job of fabbing them up. His post is there but the pics don't show anymore.
