hey i hhave pontiac transporte with a 3.1 engine in it and cooling fans not working is it comoutr controlled? its been to several garages and no one can fix it sending unit is good also and no broken or missing wires i think puter fd up as it had positive ground by distibuter that i fixed any comments would be welcome

as to answer your question, need to know what year it is... but it is likely the computer controls is, and that it wont turn them on till around 220*
