Where are some locations of the fuel cell? PIC'S?

I take it you're building a drag car? Now a few questions for you...Are you keeping your interior? What size fuel cell are you using? Now I have no interior in my Berli and I have an aluminum 3 gallon cell that's mounted to the "trunk" area under the car, that way you dont have to make a firewall. The easiest way to mount the battery inside the car is to get the Moroso sealed box, and then mount it down on the floor in the back. Once again, with this, no need for the firewall between you and the battery. It can be a tight fit under the car with the cell if its much bigger than 3 gallons. Hope this helps you out.

thans! well, its going to hopefully be a 10 sec street car. id like to have atleast a 15 gallon cell. and it would benice to keep the interior. Do you have pics as to where and how to mount this battery? is there a place for a kill switch?

sorry, i'm having some problems with my digital camera, so no pics for a little while at least. but the battery box mounts straight to the floor in the very back, back in the hatch where that deep recess is. if you really wanted to, you could make a big access door that goes all the way out to the plastic panels, then the whole thing would look factory if you use carpet to match the rest of the interior. that's what i'm going to do, as soon as i put an interior back in the car. however, if you do backhalf the car, you will probably lose that recessed area. then i dont have any real bright ideas, back halving the car could make more room for the fuel cell. i had my killswitch mounted next to a rear tail light, through the black plastic. careful when drilling that thing though, otherwise you'll crack it. my car is still the stock suspension, so mounting that stuff back there was pretty simple, but if you end up cutting up the floor, then you may have to get a little more creative.

mine isn't finished yet but here are a few pics along the way. keep in mind that backhalving a unibody can bee a very labor intensive project. this is my first attempt at cutting up a car this far. i did this in my garage where it still sits today waiting for the interior and wiring. do your homework first before you start cutting. chris alston was very helpful and sent detailed plans including measurements. i have made my share of mistakes and spent a ton more than i thought but it will be worth it in the long run (i hope).haha lots of fab questions and pics help! please!-phploambeam.jpg

I used a Moroso battery box, its sealed so you won't need a firewall. I mounted it in the rear hatch area on the passenger side. Don't forget the battery disconnect switch too..I mounted mine in the black plastic piece on the tail light. Heres a couple of pics.
You may want to consider sumping a stock tank instead of going with a fuel cell. Its probably easier and cheaper than fabbing up a fuel cell...I originally thought about a fuel cell but once I added up the cost and hassle it was easier to sump the stock tank.
