Is there any benefit to using one besides just replacing the old rusted one?

Well, it is lighter, and will not rust. It is not a huge improvement over anything. Would I use one? Sure, I have no problem getting rid of something that has 20 years of crap in the bottom for some new technology. The question is.... is it worth it?

Most boneyards have them already removed and sitting in the back hatch waiting for you to purchase them for $50
