What did you use to make the "Y" ? That design could apply to the V8's easily..

that may look nice but why???
the stock airbox will flow more then a v6 could need(if the car had the dual snorkle airbox to start with),and dosent suck in hot underhood air.
even if that does flow better, its just gonna suck in hot air.

I agree with what your saying, but I put an intake like that on my truck(single snorkle) and eliminated the fact airbox that was drawing throught the fender. Even though the air is warmer, I could FEEL the difference in HP. It didn't make sence to me either till I was talking to my engineer friend and he said the air traveling through an intake can be in excess of 800mph, so any imperfection in the airbox causes extreme turbulance. You know that from the effects of porting and polishing heads and the diff it makes.
Now if that dual snorkel could be drawing some cool air it would be even MORE effective.

looks good, it just sucks that the v8's have like a foot less room between the throttle body and the radiator.

My god that looks awseome, but as Johnnyboy said, there's practically no room between the TPI plenum and the radiator support.

That and it's hard to find something that will mate the MAF to the funky oval intake hole.

Very nice bro.

That looks really good. Would have been very cool to do in stainless steel and polish it.

I'm just a huge fan of stainless steel.

I did something like that to my V8, but I used sewage rubber pipes.

I'm about to junk it because the filters fall off when the hood is down. I'll probably just get the ram air box that could have come with my hood.
