fiberglass firewall
i was just wondering if anyone has tried to fiberglass their firewall. i started mine a few days ago. i will be posting progress pics in the next day or two.

I'm guessing your intent is to smooth the firewall? If you can't weld, I would try to get some stainless, or aluminum, and just make some nice polished covers. Cut them out, get some nice stainless screws to install it, or even stainless rivets.

i did weld in sheet metal where the blower motor and heater core were. i also filed in where all of the extra holes were except one for my wires.

photos dont seem to work.
are you replacing your firewall??? like taking it out and putting in fiberglass or just covering it up???

Again, I think you're going to have issues with cracking, etc. possibly with the fiberglass falling off altogether depending on how much and where you applied it.
The right thing to do would have been to weld it, grind your welds smooth, and then if necessary apply a small amount of body filler to smooth it out.
