can a ls1 camshaft work in my firebird
I was told that a ls1 camshaft will work in my 1992 firebird LO3 engine and will be a performance upgrade and if so what els should be done in the swap

No, you cannot use an LS1 camshaft in any regular chevy engine. Perhaps you heard about an LT1 camshaft? Those will bolt in. Look at the TBI forum, there is a sticky post about it.

hey thanks for the info on the camshaft im trying to rebiuld this car and the guy who had it before had know idea what the dif from a wrench and a screwdriver. so thanks a lot.

o yeah cant go wrong there, well other then the whole restrictive tpi setup...maybe invest the money in some aftermarket tpi junk then get the heads and cam
