Yeah. The only thing I said I could do in a weekend was cold rolled steel. For stainless, I'll have more time alloted, for trips to various stores. Once I get some time and get this project rolling, I'll start a new thread to let everyone know how its going.

i say do it! im in school for body work and work at a restoration shop, but this is completely different. i was fortunate to take a trip to a shop near port huron that does exactly this. i tell ya these guys would laugh at the thought of putting filler on one of their projects. the skeptics who think it cant be done cant be more wrong. you wouldnt believe what can be done with basic hand tools. no doubt in my mind the guy can do it, just a matter of time. go for it!
