Headlights need some fixin.
Well i figured out that my car is stuck on high beam only. and to get a sticker on it i need a new switch. problem is im flat broke. so is there a way i can run a toggle or something to my lights?
i just need to be able to turn my low beams on. then i can just turn my light switch all the way on for highs or something.
also. my horn is 100% screwed. anyone know how to make a button for that as well?
and also! Ive added 1500 watts of stereo and some american racing sawblade rims. now i cant think of anything else to do to it. minus performance. Anybody know of something custom i could do? Ive thought about painting some interior accents. and thought about tinting the tails.

Have you tried adjusting the switch under the steering column for the high beams? Just loosen the screw and slide the switch a tad and retighten the screw. Otherwise, the switch isn't that much (under $20).

Go without highbeams for a while, unplug the cables right behind the headlight.

Re: Headlights need some fixin.
well i fixed the problem. I took off my under colum and found out that a metal rod is supposed to push in the high/low switch. it was so broken a piece actually fell out and hit me in the face. so instead i hooked up a switch to the low and to the highs and put the toggles directly under my dimmer switch. but i like this better actually. because now i can have my lows on with my highs as well for added clarity.
only problem is. i cant find my horn in my car either. anyone know where exactly it is?

You'll need to take off the steering wheel to determine what's not causing your horn to sound.
I'm guessing since your info says your car is a '91 firebird, that it has airbags. You'll have to remove the airbag from the steering wheel to gain access to the two switches that are placed at the two top corners of the airbag that actuate the horn. And then you need to make sure that the little plastic tube with the spring is actuating the horn correctly (this lies in this little hole in the steering column). Worst case scenario you could probably rig up some sort of switch to complete the circuit between the two wires, just make sure the wire down in the hole in the steering column stays touching the bottom of that hole, then you can just rig up a way to have the ground or negative wire actuate when you'd like.
Hope this helps.

Well in my opinion the stock steering wheel would look very ugly with no airbag attached. You would obviously have to replace the steering wheel.
But if that's your plan you will have to remove the airbag, you will have to clip the airbag wires close to the steering column so they do not get in the way of anything. You should remove the SRS fuse before attempting this so that the airbag does not accidentally deploy.
and 885speed is correct, there's only an airbag in the steering wheel.

One small thing - the airbag connector is slightly smaller on a 4th gen wheel - just rewire your connector off your old wheel on the new wheel.
