Fab up ram air intake for carbed 350

Hey guys I have a 4bbl 350 and I'm going to get the ram air hood but I wanted to know if there was any way to get that intake to wrk on a carb

I too would be interested in this type of modification, I am looking into a ram air hood for my 87 TA, w/ stock 305

anything is possible, you would either have to pan the hood over to the carb, leaving a hole for the aircleaner to stick through, and build a box around the carb to isolate it from the engine bay. Anything is possible, just requires some planning and some fabrication.

I'd personally buy a MIG, unless you are an experienced welder already.

A little over a year ago I fabbed up a sheet metal plenum to fit on a buddy's TBI Camaro so he could hook up the TPI Y-pipe intake. It was pretty cool looking. It looked alot like a mini ram. I don't have it or any pics anymore though. It was very, very easy to make once I had all of the hood clearance measurements. I'm going to make one for my car one of these days but in a little different style. It mounts to the top of the carb/TBI just like a regular air cleaner and it's held on by the wing nut.

Thanks for the info guys.. I like the one from JEG's... but I think I am going to fab one by grafting two stock filter boxes. I think its going to be easy, and with a hi-flo filter, it should work good.
