Steel upper radiator support
im looking to make a upper radiator support out of steel to replace the stock plastic support. It is really flimsy because i cut the lower half of it off where it bolted to the stock fan. i cut it because i swapped a set of 4th gen fans onto the radiator and it got in the way. it works for now but i dont like how flimsy it is. i've seen pics of metal supports and i cant find them anywhere so im going to try yo make one.
any ideas are welcome.

Re: Steel upper radiator support
no bolt on replacement exsists, you do have to make your own. Its not hard, though i would use stainless or aluminum.
Have to find somebody with a break to make a couple bends, then cut to size and drill the mounting holes

Re: Steel upper radiator support

I am going to sand it down and re-paint it. (paint came out shitty)
but it did do what I wanted it to do.
sorry if the pics are too big

that looks good. Here is the one I made. It's made of steel. I plan on either chroming or painting it.

Did you make or have another one of these metal radiator supports?

I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea if someone started making these to sell them.
