Apparently the biggest problem is the lack of communication. Just a word or two would go a long ways.

Re: Carbon Z28 Grille
I think everyone needs to relax a bit. The guy stated that he is pretty busy with work and does this on the side for himself basically. My friend that does CF work on the side said he wouldnt even TOUCH these for people for $200 so it is an EXCELLENT deal. Matt posted about a month ago with the list of people so he is around. I am not worried and even if I dont get what I "ordered", I took a chance and it is only $100 not thousands for a prototype part. But I am not worried as a few people have actually gotten a part

Re: Carbon Z28 Grille
That grill looks awesome. Do you guys know anyone who is doing interior parts? Dashes, center consols, shifters, steering wheels Ect..?
I've been working with a guy wanting to get into molding small carbon fiber parts, we were gonna stick with mostly motorcycle parts, but I wanted to do some interior parts for my car, and once the molds are made their made wouldn't be hard to reproduce plenty of them. If everyones not too turner off by waiting so long for this grille... I posted a thread earlier in the week. check it out please.

I have to ask..why did you guys wait so long to dispute it?
Sounds like a good scam to me loose money or break even on the first couple...But then make 100% profit on a bunch of guys who see the product.
Pay pal should be able to get you an address or phone number...Maybe the admins can lend a hand too.

This kind of reminds my of the pyramid scheme. Some get the product and most are left holding the bag after making payment.

Re: Carbon Z28 Grille
But his background is pretty legit. Lanier Technical College has a motorsports program thats apparently somewhat successful. Between Road Atlanta and Panoz there's actually a thriving motorsport industry up there. Charlotte isnt far away, either.
I find it pretty odd a student like that would go through all this trouble to scam everyone but send two of them out. Cant help but wonder if something weird is going on. Like maybe he got in trouble for using the autoclave for personal financial gains and got released from the Nissan program and maybe he already spent the moneys?

Someone affected should send this thread to the guys at Jalopnik... they have covered a lot of hte Nissan Deltawing stuff... a Nissan employee has been scamming people, might be of interest to certain people...

I may have to write this elan tech a little letter.
What I don't understand is, why am I the only one complaining here?? Did everyone else get theirs??

So if you guys wanted to you could go pretty far up the chain of command.

The Nissan DeltaWing will kick off the next phase of its development for this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans in Europe after departing Don Panoz's Elan Motorsports Technologies in Georgia yesterday.
Might want to start screenshotting things with timestamps, though. He may delete those pictures pretty quick when the heat comes down on him.

I get the feeling that he wasn't setting out to intentionally scam people. But the fact that he had people's money up front probably made him lazy and not motivated to finish producing them. So he just abandoned the project.
